About the game

Nyx: The travelers call is an adventure-storytelling game about a wish dragon finding her place in the world. The idea of the game is to take Nyx on a journey throughout her world, so every wish or two takes her to a new place. She will grow up with those around her, and where she goes from there, we aren't sure, but isn't that the point?

Not only does she travel to different places, She realizes that she does not have to stay put and deliver wishes to a single area, she can travel to many areas. Her journey to find and accept her place is a long one, but with the help of the people she meets and the wishes she grants, she will get there.

About Our Team

Our team consists of three teenagers, a mom, and through this jam we met an incredible sound designer, and a fantastic composer. We love this game jam as the inclusivity fits us well, as we have non-binary, asexual and bisexual members.

If our team had more time we would:

Add the rest of sfx (talking, water splashes, etc)

make dialogue richer - increase storytelling element

focus on nyx's personal journey a bit more

include a 'heart system' which encourages the player to help a certain amount of people in a certain amount of time

food system?

mini events - Actually help clean up trash/build house
